On Dec 21 a spectacular event will occur in the night sky

On Dec. 21, Jupiter and Saturn will appear to be no more than a dime’s width apart in the night sky. It will be an spectacular celestial event for the skygazers, the last time that could be seen was 800 years ago. The next time the planets will be this close is 2080, making this event a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle for most adults.

In the United States, the best view of the two planets coming into near-alignment will be just after sunset, in the southwestern portion of the sky.

There was another conjunction at the beginning of 2020 - for our esoteric friends please read more here. 2020 was a challenge for me, but very very interesting year.
